New Year's Eve and a New Tradition is Born

We decided to do something different for New Year's Eve this year. Usually we make a four course dinner for ourselves after the girls go to bed, but this year Murray was too sick to stay up until midnight and so we did a cheese fondue with the girls. It was an unqualified success. We had it picnic style in the family room, and since the girls and I had spent the afternoon at the Natural History Museum, we watched Night at the Museum on DVD. It was a perfect way to spend New Year's Eve, snuggled up in front of the fire safe from the bitter cold outside. I think we'll have to do this every New Year's Eve from now on.
